The UKVISION UK-SW-4-1000-P is an unmanaged Gigabit PoE switch designed for small CCTV and network installations requiring both power and high-speed data transmission over Ethernet. It provides four 10/100/1000Mbps PoE+ RJ45 ports compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at standards, delivering up to 30W per port for IP cameras, wireless access points, IP phones, and other PoE-enabled devices. The switch also includes two 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 uplink ports, enabling connection to an NVR, router, or core switch for seamless network integration. All ports support auto-negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX, ensuring compatibility with standard Ethernet cabling and eliminating the need for crossover cables. PoE ports can also be used with non-PoE devices for data transmission only. With a total PoE power budget of 65W, the device supports stable and efficient power distribution across connected devices within its capacity. The switch operates using a store-and-forward architecture, offering reliable data transmission with a switching capacity of 12Gbps, a packet forwarding rate of 8.928Mpps, and a 2K MAC address table for effective traffic handling. Extend mode enables transmission distances of up to 250 metres at reduced bandwidth (10Mbps), making it suitable for long-distance CCTV installations. VLAN mode provides port isolation so that downlink ports can only communicate with uplink ports, reducing broadcast traffic and improving network security. Standard switch mode allows all ports to communicate freely for general networking applications. A built-in digital power display shows real-time PoE power consumption, allowing easy monitoring and load management. LED indicators provide clear status information for power and Link/Act activity on each port. The device is built with a durable metal housing and includes a grounding terminal for added electrical protection. The switch supports multiple IEEE standards including IEEE 802.3i, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3x, 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3az, ensuring broad compatibility across network devices. It operates on AC 100–240V power input and is designed for indoor use within temperatures of 0°C to 45°C, with non-condensing humidity between 10% and 90%. The plug-and-play unmanaged design allows immediate deployment without any configuration. With support for Cat5 or higher cables and a compact size of 200 × 133 × 44 mm, it is suitable for residential, commercial, and small business environments requiring a reliable and efficient PoE networking solution.
